Neuticles Inventor Signs Seven Year Book Deal
INDEPENDENCE, MO (October, 2004)-- Neuticles inventor Gregg A. Miller, creator of
testicular implants for pets- has signed a seven year contract with Publish America of
Frederick, DE. for promotion and distribution of his book entitled Going Going NUTS!
Miller, 51, said the book is about the creation of patented Neuticles while at the same time
dealing single handedly with his Alzheimer's diseased father.
Neuticles gained Worldwide fame since it's introduction in 1995 providing pet owners an
alternative to the traditional form of Neutering. Miller said over 144,000 pets have been
implanted to date in all 50 states and 39 countries.
"Going Going NUTS! is a true story - a story that had to be told," Miller said. "It's about
the birth of an idea, the death of a mind and the incredible, unthinkable events that followed."
"There are so many books about Alzheimer's that sugar coats the disease," Miller said. "My
story tells it the way it is - how it devastates not only the patient- but those around that patient."
Katherine Michaud, acquisitions editor for Publish America, said Miller's book has tremendous appeal to a wide range of readers.
"Going Going NUTS! is an absolute must read for any pet owner or those with aging parents
or those whose loved one's are facing Alzheimer's," Michaud said. "It's two stories in one
covering a six year time frame. Mr Miller has done a magnificent job in telling his story.
It's unlike anything I have ever read and has many surprises."
Miller, a lifelong resident of Independence, said movie rights to Going Going NUTS! will
also be negotiated by Publish America 90 days after the book's release which is scheduled
for January, 2005.
Miller said the 129 page book is now available in ebook format through the www.neuticles.com
website or at www.goinggoingnuts.com

Buck the Bloodhound Dead At Age 8:
Canine Co-Inventor Loses Cancer Fight For Life
Buckner, MO - Buck- the 194 lb bloodhound that prompted the idea of testicular implants for pets seven years ago -died today after a 72 hour fight for life.
"We are deeply saddened and will miss Buck a great deal" said Gregg A. Miller, president and founder of the Missouri- based CTI-Neuticles Corporation. Miller said Buck died from complications associated with liver cancer.
Buck is featured on the company's website -and has received national and Worldwide publicity since the products introduction.
Miller said Neuticles were invented due to the trauma he and Buck experienced.
"Buck was seven months-old and as ornery as they came," Miller recalled. "Well- the day came when I had to consider neutering- and was really surprised that the testicles are permanently removed when the pet is neutered." Miller said. "Buck would no longer be Buck!".
Deeply concerned, Miller asked his Missouri veterinarian, Dr R.D. Holder of Independence if implants were available so Buck would look the same.
"I've been a veterinarian for over 45 years and it had never been thought of," Dr Holder said. "I told Gregg it sounded like a very good idea as many pet owners hesitate or even refuse to neuter because of this," he said.
Buck was neutered the traditional way in 1993 - but the final decision to begin research and development of the now patented product and procedures was made when Miller noticed Buck's dissatisfaction by his apparent loss.
"Unquestionably, Buck noticed the change -and it was decided to give pet owners Worldwide an "option" when neutering their beloved pet."
Following two years of research and development costing- in excess of $500,000 - the first commercial implantation was performed on Dec. 20, 1995. Since that time, over 60,000 canines, felines, horses and bulls have been "Neuticled" in all 50 states and 24 countries.
"We've even Neuticled a prairie dog in Kansas, two water buffalo in Colorado and a colony of rats in Louisiana," Miller said. "The first monkey is in two weeks and we're excited to help even monkey's 'look and feel' the same." .
Neuticles are endorsed or recommended by many local, regional and national humane societies Worldwide including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Private services for Buck the Bloodhound are to be held at Pet Cremation Services of Kansas City

A Cat Named Kodiac
Neutered Feline Marks 25,000 For Implant Maker
FOR RELEASE MAY 19,1999
Metairie, LA - The Missouri-based company that introduced testicular implants for pets reached a new milestone today with its 25,000 recipient.
Trademarked Neuticles- the varied-sized implants for canines, felines equine and bulls helps the hesitant pet owner overcome the anxiety of neutering their beloved pet.
"The traditional method of neutering pets was developed in the early 1800's and involves the permanent removal of the testicles," said CTI President and Inventor Gregg A. Miller. "Neuticles are helping pet owners Worldwide overcome the trauma associated with neutering by allowing their pet to look exactly the same afterwards."
Miller said patented Neuticles have been successfully implanted by over 8000 veterinarians in all 50 states and 13 foreign countries without a single reported complication.
"We're completely happy with the results." said cat owner Lane Hinderman of Metairie, LA. " Kodiak looks exactly the same as before and this was important to us."
The three minute procedure was performed by Dr John J. Martin of the Metairie Small Animal Hospital.
"It was as simple and complication-free as the manufacturer boasted" Dr Martin said. "Neuticles are a definite option for the owner that is squeamish about neutering."
The prothesitic device is available in two models- NeuticlesOriginals and NeuticlesNaturals. In five sizes sizes from feline petite to canine large-wholesaling from $25 pair for the original polyprophylene model to $89 for the solid silicone Naturals.
Introduced in 1995, the product is endorsed by a number of humane societies and animal-rights organizations Worldwide including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
"In a country where over 17 million unwanted pets are destroyed each year due to pet overpopulation - Neuticles is providing a solid solution to this hideous and costly crisis by encouraging pet owners to neuter that simply would not before," Miller said.
He said the 25,000 implanted pet owner will receive a Neuticles gift package containing promotional items including keyrings, t-shirt, ballcap and Neuticles necklace.

The Nation Waits...
"Buddy Needs Neuticles" Proposal Reviewed By Clinton
Released March 31, 1998
BUCKNER, MO - Determined to make an impact on domestic pet overpopulation, CTI President Gregg A. Miller announced today a White House proposal which could raise millions of dollars for humane societies nationwide.
Miller, inventor of Neuticles and Kansas City Radio Station Q-104, has contacted the White House in an effort to convince President Clinton to neuter "first dog" Buddy with the Worlds first canine testicular implants.
"President Clinton is typical of most dog owners when it comes time to neuter," said Miller- referencing recent news stories of the upcoming event and President Clintons reluctance to neuter his dog.
With a theme of "Buddy Needs NEUTICLES", Kansas City radio personality Randy Miller sent President Clinton product samples and a request that Buddy be neutered with the implants. To date, over 11,000 canines in all fifty states and nine foreign countries have been neutered with Neuticles without a single complication. The product has the support of the ASPCA and the U.S. Humane Society and is proving to help pet owners neuter that simply would not have otherwise.
Miller said producers of the Randy Miller Morning Show have been in constant contact with a White House spokesman. It was reported that President Clinton is now reviewing the information.
"NEUTICLES were invented to provide pet owners opposed to the traditional form of neutering an option of allowing their pet to remain "whole" after the neutering procedure. Miller has received Worldwide publicity for development of the procedure and implant device.
Miller said his company will donate five percent of its sales Worldwide to the humane societies of President Clinton's choice if Buddy is neutered with Neuticles. "Its a wonderful opportunity to raise potentially multiple millions of dollars to help put an end to this American tragedy - to stop the killing of over 17 million helpless dogs and cats."
Miller said millions in tax dollars will also be saved in the years to come if pet overpopulation is decreased or eliminated. "If the number dropped from 17 million killings a year to say 1 million -it would relieve community shelters costs of operating." Miller said the potential millions of donation dollars could help create increased consumer awareness and assist owners financially with neutering costs.
"Our immediate concern is to make President Clinton aware that Buddy can still look and feel the same when surgery time comes."
A decision has not been received from the White House as an anxious Buckner- a suburb of Kansas City, MO awaits.

A Chinese Pug Named Frodo:
California Canine First Ever To Receive Solid Silicone Testicles
CASTRO VALLEY, CA - The first canine ever to be neutered and implanted with a solid silicone testicular implant was performed at the Grove Way Animal Hospital of Castro Valley- a suburb of San Francisco.
Dr. Cynthia Edelman DVM, performed the three minute procedure on a sixteen month old Chinese Pug owned by Janell Sausser of San Lorenzo.
The implant, branded NEUTICLESNATURALSsm-is being touted by its manufacturer as being "as natural as nature intended."
"It's a very simple procedure and is as realistic as the manufacturer boasts," Dr. Edelman said. "The texture of the implants makes it very close to natural when implanted."
"Absolutely remarkable," praised Sausser who feared her dog named Frodo would not be the same after the traditional form of neutering which leaves the pet without testicles.
"NeuticlesNaturals are as real as his originals." She said. " Frodo doesn't know anything's missing and that's important."
"The replication is astonishing," said Gregg A. Miller, inventor and president of the Missouri based CTI Corporation. "Authentic- clear down to feel- as natural as nature intended."
Miller said solid silicone should not be confused with the gel type from decades past which reportedly caused medical concerns for thousands of women and men.
"It has the feel and texture of a gummie bear- firm yet soft," Miller said. "It will never flake, leak or cause any adverse reaction to the pet or we would not introduce it to the World," he said.
"It's 100% safe and is revolutionizing the 200 year-old neutering procedure used today." A $1 million per occurrence product liability coverage protects each implanted pet with the patented device, he said.
Miller said five sized NEUTICLES are available for canines which are available to veterinarians for $89 to $129 per pair for the silicone models, and $25 to $32 a pair for the polyprophylene version which has been in distribution for nearly three years. Each sized NEUTICLES replicates the pets testicle in size, shape and weight.
The company reports 13,560 of the polyprophylene canine and feline implantations in all 50 states and nine foreign countries without a single reported complication.
Neuticles for horses and bulls are also available. Neuticles and the implant procedure has been praised by national humane societies as providing an option to pet owners who are opposed to the traditional form of neutering. "NeuticlesNaturals or regular Neuticles are providing a safe, practical and inexpensive solution to the overpopulation crisis in a country where over 17 million unwanted pets are killed each year," Miller said.
As for Frodo, Sausser said "He never knew he lost anything and is just a happier little dog since he's been neutered with NEUTICLES."

"They Are Stealing Everything"
Counterfeiters Target Patented Neuticles For Pets
Released June 26, 2000
Kansas City, MO - The inventor of testicular implants for pets announced today plans to stop illegal manufacturing and distribution of counterfeit implants.
Gregg Miller, president of CTI Corporation and creator of Neuticles for animals will authorize patent infringement action on several United States companies which have duplicated the product and surgical procedure created by Miller.
"No one on this Earth had ever heard or even dreamed of testicular implants for pets until Neuticles were created" Miller said. "Today we have several small and large companies that are taking full advantage of the Worldwide publicity Neuticles has created and they will be stopped."
Miller said his company trademarked Neuticles and the testicular implant procedure which was awarded US Patent Number 5,8681,140 at a cost exceeding tens of thousands of dollars.
"CTI Corporation is outraged that these companies would profit from our rights and would intentionally break federal laws to do it. We have declared war on these pirate operations and will overcome," he said- indicating losses could exceed millions.
Miller cited a company located in New York which has duplicated Neuticles clear down to advertising copy and printed surgical procedure. Miller said the company sent out thousands of free implants to veterinarians across the country. Another company said they are aware of the Neuticles patents but get around it by not asking what the implant is for.
A company in California which manufactured Neuticles for CTI was discovered producing over runs and selling the product without the companies knowledge.
"They are stealing everything," Miller said.
CTI Corporation investigators have obtained evidence against two companies who until now have produced legitimate human implants only or have supplied silicone parts and related products.
Neuticles are mass produced in multiple sizes for canines, felines and equine in three models: NeuticlesOriginal, NeuticlesNatural and NeuticlesUltra- each boasting varied softness levels and are priced from $30 a pair.
Custom molding is also available to provide a precise replication of the pets testicle. "We produced Neuticles for a prairie dog in Kansas and a water buffalo in Colorado" Miller said.
Neuticles have been implanted in over 39,000 canines and felines in all 50 states and 14 foreign countries with not a single complication and insures each pet up to $1 million in the unlikely event of a complication.
In addition to planned legal action CTI plans extensive advertising and press releases in veterinary trade publications warning veterinarians of patent rights and certain risks if an illegal implant is used.
